Cursor vs GitHub Copilot: free plan and student offer

Cursor has a free plan for anyone, with limited Agent and Chat use. It has no student discount right now. GitHub Copilot Student gives verified students unlimited code completions plus an allowance of AI credits. We haven't verified a Copilot free plan for everyone yet, so this isn't a like-for-like free-plan comparison.
